Took time off from college

I went to Drexel University for 3 years with a Marketing major, and my GPA was a 3.2. I hit a rut and failed a bunch of classes and my GPA dropped to about a 2. I dropped out, and returned to Community College where I got a 4.0 for the year. I am returning to Drexel to graduate in '15, hopefully with a GPA around 3.0. I'm taking my first LSAT in Sep and have already started studying.

I want to keep my school choices realistic and am wondering if anybody can offer advice on how to improve my "standing" or if they can suggest what "level" of school I should apply to. I will be meeting with Drexel's pre-law advisor, but any advice here would be appreciated too.

Come back with an LSAT and we'll talk. Your range of schools will be determined by the LSAT alone. It could vary from Northwestern to don't bother going to law school, so take the LSAT seriously.

That pre law advisor doesn't know shit. Just study and aim for a 180.

Lol, I have that settled. I'll come back later with a score, I'm going Scarface with my prep.
