He argues with few people attending it will be easier to find a job. While that may be true its all relative, meaning its not necessarily a good idea to take 100k of debt just because your odds of a job are 60% rather than 50%. Curious to hear others thoughts about this.

What is also quite interesting is that Drexel Law Professor, then mocks the comments who talk about how the job outcomes will not pay debt. Is Professor Lisa McElroy right these people are wrong as there is so much transparency that everyone has all the information to make informed decisions?

If there was full disclosure as professor McElory states, how would one be swayed to attend Drexel Law?

Your question does not make sense. Are you agreeing that it's a great time to attend law school? Are you questioning the professors logic?

I don't understand why it is deplorable. The students enrolling in law schools have the information about job placement, bar passage, etc. Presumably, they have decided that they will fall on the positive side of the statistics. They make the choice to accept the offer of admission. The law school makes a commitment to educate them to the best of its ability. If the law school is so terrible and lacks judgment in admitting students, why would a student then choose to go there? It's all in the student's control.

Transparency shifts the blame but doesn't solve the problem.

Apparently the author is going to compare the number of grads to the number of projected jobs in 2017 and 2018 next week. I think we all know that his conclusion will be that around 2018 the number of grads will be roughly equal to the number of jobs. What this ignores is that many of those jobs are terrible and no better than what the employed could have achieved had he skipped law school and spent three years working towards a different career. And if he had done that, he wouldn't have 200k in debt.

The odd part is the comments are from actual real people, not just guys sitting in basements. I tend to think some of the professors of schools with horrible outcomes (see Drexel) are realizing the ride is about over.

+1000000000 on that it doesn't solve the problem. It does make it easier to solve, though.

There's another concept besides transparency that matters that people usually couple with transparency without thinking about it. We can make things very transparent (as we have), but actual access to that information is another thing. So is actually understanding it. And then actually acting on it.
