Reapplying at CCN

Hi everyone, I applied this cycle and was shut out from HYS. I'm strongly considering retaking the LSAT (this would be my second take) and applying again this fall.
I'd be perfectly fine if I retook and got rejected by HYS again next cycle, however, what I am worried about is how schools that accepted me this cycle will view my application next cycle (I'd hate to reapply and not get admitted the second time). I was fortunate to be accepted to two out of the 3 CCN (waitlisted at the third one) -- if my first LSAT score was as high as I thought I was capable I'd go to one of these in a heartbeat.
Has anyone had any experience that they'd be willing to share with reapplying to any of CCN (or the rest of the T14) after being admitted in the initial cycle? Were there any particular steps that you took the second time applying to explain why you were reapplying (instead of matriculating or deferring)? I did not receive any merit money from these schools, and figure that that would be a sufficient reason for reapplying with a new LSAT score. What do others think? Is that something that I would want to make a note of in my application for next cycle, or is it safe to assume that the admissions officers, in reviewing my application, would see my previous application and note 'Oh, he/she was admitted but didn't receive a Hamilton/Butler/Ruby/etc.'
I've browsed some old forum posts regarding this question, and found some helpful responses, but not so much information about specific actions that people who have reapplied to T14 schools that they were initially admitted to have taken:
