guys, i'm sure lots of you have sent out negotiation letter already and may the odds be ever in our favor

i wonder how long is your negotiation letter? i went through some templates online and found it to be extremely long..i know i have to cut it down but how long is yours? just wondering.

Mine was about 3 semi short paragraphs.
First i talked about how i liked the school (concrete things), and how it is an amazing choice.
Second paragraph i brought up how its an expensive investment, so im weighing my options carefully. I also brought other schools offers.
Third paragraph I told them that i really hope to be a part of the school, and if they could take another look at my schollys i would appreciate that.

I tried to keep it short and sweet

My two emails were 5 fairly short paragraphs, following the same general path as the above poster. The length of the email is going to be a very similar consideration to how you chose the length of your personal statement. Figure out what you want to say and then say it as succinctly as you can. Maybe that makes the email long, maybe very brief. If you do that, the length of the email won't really be an issue.
