Retaking in June - help please

Currently boasting an unimpressive 155, which lead to an unimpressive and disappointing cycle. Planning to retake in June, but in order to justify taking yet another year off and going through this cycle all over again, I need to DRASTICALLY improve my score -- to the extent that I could not only get into good schools, but would possibly get some $$ also since paying sticker anywhere is out of the question. How unrealistic is a 6-8 point increase? Opinion on whether or not a 162 and 3.31 GPA get me any money at schools like Maryland, Wash & Lee, U Richmond, and other similarly ranked schools?

How much did you study first time around, what were you PTing at?

Yeah, how did you prep the first time you took the exam? What section gives you the most trouble?
To guarantee $$$, the retake is a must. A 6-8 point increase is absolutely possible.
