Asking a school to extend deferral?

I was admitted into a T14 law school two years ago and was granted a two year deferral so I could work for a few years. I was recently offered a promotion and a chance to work at my firm's London office for a year. I still want to attend law school, but this is a great opportunity that I have a hard time passing up. Does anyone know how law schools feel about extending deferrals for reasons like this?
