PR at Duke. LOCI or school visit?

Hello,

I was placed on PR a week ago by Duke. I wanted to know what would be the best route to take in order to increase my chances of being taken off the PR. Is a normal LOCi sufficient, or would it be worth it to make a visit to the school and schedule an interview? I lived in NY btw.

Thank you!

Probably a retake

What's your LSAT score?

Kind of shocking that they would waitlist you rather than accept you with solid money.

Any red flags on your app?

I would send a LOCI ASAP

Possibly because I didn't write a "why Duke"?

it seems like Duke has been waitlisting/YPing a lot this year

I wonder if they anticipate a median drop?

I wouldn't be surprised, they've kept their 169 for the last two years without dropping.

Would it be advisable for me to contact the office of admissions to try to schedule an on campus interview despite being on the priority reserve list? What type of boost would this provide me in terms of getting off of the PR and showing them that I am legitimately interested in the school?
