So I though I would start a fun and quirky little thread where we post things we would not catch any TLSer saying. I’ll start it out with a few:

I shouldn’t have tried to negotiate scholarships with schools. They totally revoked my current offer.
I really regret retaking the LSAT in February to get more money.
Don’t worry about the LSAT, your softs will make up for it.
You should definitely go to the lower ranked school with the expectation of ending up in the top 5% with your stellar LSAT/GPA combo.

Hopefully this isn’t a dumb idea

Yea I'm sure a JD/MBA/PhD is a great triple combo no doubt you'll be using all those degrees daily - go for it!

Studying's over-rated - when it comes to final exams just wing it!

OCI's are breeze - just show up and your golden - unshaven, disheveled, mildly intoxicated no sweat!

You should definitely try to date as many girls in your 1L section as possible that way when you break up it's more fun!

No price is too high for a good legal education.

Have you considered American? They have an excellent program in international law and human rights.

Go all in on DC if that's really where you want to be.

You know, now that I had a lot of time to think about it, I feel I did pretty well in that interview.

Whatever you do, take the sticker - don't wait a cycle and retake. The 160k you'll make when you graduate a year sooner makes up for it!

I'm really impressed by how quickly LSAC releases LSAT scores!
