Reapplying to a school that accepted you

I'm at the point in the cycle where I've been waitlisted to all my top schools and although I've gotten into some good ones, I'd still be racking up 100k+ debt. I still have some applications in review at some lower T-14 schools, but even if I get off a waitlist for T-10, I don't feel comfortable going there at sticker.

Because I have a low LSAT/High GPA and one more retake, I'm seriously considering retaking. I understand that if I reapply to a law school, I need to show them that something has substantially changed (3+ higher LSAT, new personal statement, new letters of rec etc.)

But how do I reapply to schools that accepted me that I didn't feel comfortable going to without more scholly $? I'm especially concerned about one of my top options accepting me at sticker, me turning them down because I don't have the money, and then reapplying.

Thanks for the advice guys!

This isn't an issue at all. I re-applied with the same stats and got all the same results I got the first time. I was also a very heavy splitter. You can PM if you want more info.

Theres no reason that they would look down upon something like that. If they accepted you the first time, they would probably accept you the second time and if there's a shot at improving your LSAT score by a decent amount, then go for it.

In the same vein as this, if you have a good LSAT (170+) and a really low GPA, would it be a big blow to try to retake the LSAT and score lower on your third try? Would schools that took you a cycle earlier ding/WL/lower scholarship money because of a new lower score?

They only have to report the highest score so no, a lower third try doesn't matter.

I retook a 170 and it was the best decision I ever made, to add some anecdotal evidence.
