Top Law Schools

This seems like such a basic question, but I don't recall seeing it come up in any of the threads here. Let's say someone has received multiple acceptances, and has even paid multiple seat deposits in order to keep their options open while negotiating scholarships. If the timing allowed, they could conceivably even attend orientation at multiple schools. So at what point are you officially a student at one (and only one) school? When you get your schedule? On the first day of class? When your tuition check clears?

you are considered a student by the school when you are matriculated/activated by the registrar. for refund purposes, the clock begins ticking on the first day of classes.
