inb4 "post stats" (3.8 HYPSM / 790 GMAT 6.0 AWA / own a pizza restaurant / lol @ law school)

initial data points:

here is the splitter thread
http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7&t=222587
it is 3 pages of raw data per the OP

here is the "reverse splitter" thread
http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7&t=222555
it derails rapidly in2 discussion of the general topic but does not altogether fall apart

here is the "semi-reverse splitter thread"
http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7&t=224666
it is maybe 40% as terrible as u might expect but give it time i'm sure

here is the general applicant pool
http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 0&t=218153
holy fucking shit

That depends.

Better in the sense of "at some point in my school career I recognized the essentially worthless, make-work nature of most of my academic activities and therefore decided to invest myself in things that bring about actual happiness/spiritual development/personal expansion/etc rather than an obsession with grades, to the ultimate benefit of my sense of wellbeing, satisfaction, emotional growth and general sanity"? Absolutely possible.

Better in sense of "hi, I'm Dean Francis Shitboomer III; I am the first gatekeeper to the kind of legal work that will sufficiently compensate you so as to make the required bar tab/monthly loan payments available for keeping your otherwise life ruining law school debt 'manageable'; in complete thralldom to USNWR, my every impulse finds its wellspring in one aspiration: that I may someday render unto my dark masters the median LSAT and GPA statistics necessary to move my school up one precious, precious notch on their mighty list. Now, I shall choose from among you the most fatted calf for this sacrifice"? No.

Sense #2 is the only one that matters for law school.

there's no such thing as a splitter or reverse splitter. there is only "retake" and "don't go"

this thread isn't flame it's a subtle jab against waiters. not every brick is a wall. the fact that you missed that makes me think you're dumb or a waiter aka both.

You don't go to law school/plan on going to law school yet post on this forum?

Am I missing something here?

Weird. My PC tells me I'm in the law school admissions section, and the OP links to threads discussing admissions to various law schools.

Splitters just had more time to develop their personality waking up plastered in gastric/other bodily fluids each morning for 5+ years of undergrad than more traditional applicants.

I don't think I've had the pleasure. Just a reference to your 2,500 posts in 6 days (roughly speaking, of course).

It's not really a secret.

Also, what is this doing in the on-topics? Not directed at patogordo, but for the group!

Based on your initial data points, I think it's fair to say splitters are better people (first time I've encountered semi-reverse splitter btw, so ty for that). Also, congrats on the continued success of your pizza restaurant. The greater scottsdale area is fortunate to have someone like you.

Is there an all-time record? Minimum sample size needed, of course.
