Yup.xmking07 wrote:It's strictly regional. The vast majority stay in state if they pass the bar. I say "if" because only about half do on their first time taking it. Maybe 5%-10% go to NC or GA, but that's the extent of it. If you live in SC it might be worth it if you wish to stay in state and not make a ton of money, but if you don't want that I advise against it.
Pretty much spot on, though the 50% bar pass rate is a bit low. ~82% pass rate in July 2013 for USC grads.xmking07 wrote:It's strictly regional. The vast majority stay in state if they pass the bar. Mine is probably outdated then. I base that off of a bulletin board posting at my university with the Charleston law and SC law bar passage rates, which according to that were 45% and 55% respectively. I went to a small regional in SC that sends most of its law school hopefuls aiming at SC law so I have had info about it thrown at me fairly often.morrissey wrote:Pretty much spot on, though the 50% bar pass rate is a bit low. ~82% pass rate in July 2013 for USC grads.xmking07 wrote:It's strictly regional.
