Applying After Telling Schools

Yo, so when I turned in my applications, I forgot to list what other schools I applied to. I emailed all of the schools and asked if they needed that information, and most of them were like, "Psh. Nah." But some weren't. I sent in that info, but every week I want to apply to another school. It probably looks pretty stupid/annoying/desperate to keep updating the schools that said they want to know about that. Has anyone had this problem? What do you do?

You don't have to do this.

I skipped that section on all the apps. I don't see the benefit in telling them.

To echo other posters, no need to do this at all. IIRC the only school that explicitly asked in the app was UChicago?

I was also under the impression that schools are able to see everywhere you have applied through LSAC, although I may have been misinformed on that (typing it out right now it seems very odd that they would have this information...)

LOL. Why would you do that? Do you tell employers where else you send resumes?

LSAC does inform schools when you DEPOSIT at more than one institution, which seems fair.

Yeah, it's stupid to do that. There is a space on every application for it though, I think. I really don't care about them seeing where I apply. It was just keeping them posted on stuff that I'm talking about. Like they could chart my panic as I apply to lower and lower-ranked schools or something. It's funny for reals.
