Top Law Schools

I ended up canceling my October 2013 score. I just took the February 2014 and I know for certain I didn't do nearly as well as I could've done, probably around 10 points less than my average PT scores. So, I was wondering, what is the consensus on canceling LSAT score twice in terms of how law schools will view this?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It generally doesn't matter because schools pretty much only care about your highest score

Generally speaking, unless you are positive that you screwed something up (bubbling in wrong answers, didn't get to a bunch of questions, etc.) it isn't wise to cancel your score. Better to just see what the score is and retake if necessary. Admissions people will see all attempts and probably won't look too favorably upon someone who consistently cancels scores. YMMV.

if a schools median is 164, I would rather have

Although the example is a bit extreme it's true they really only care about their medians now adays the rest is fluff

I was consistently PTing 165-170. Averaging about -6 LR, -4 RC and -3 LG. I was at least completing each section on time.
For the Feb 2014 LSAT that I took on Saturday, the nerves definitely got to me and had an AWFUL day. I ran out of time with 2 questions left on each of the two LR sections as well as the RC section. In addition, I was only able to complete 3 of the 4 logic games and to be honest I'm thinking I got at least -8 for the LG section.
So to be clear, hypothetically speaking, a cancel-cancel-167 would be better than a cancel-155-167? Again, thanks for your input everybody.

In that case, probably so. If you think you did that poorly, it would probably be best to cancel.

You know man, I would think long and hard before cancelling. I took the December LSAT, and had a similar test day experience as you. Ran out of time, got flustered, and messed up the logic games. I was testing at around your same range, too. Initially I thought had bombed it, and was really disappointed. Fuck mirrors.

I ended up getting a 163, which was still disappointing but not nearly as bad as I originally thought. I wouldn't cancel, unless you are POSITIVE you completely fucked up.
