My degree gpa (3.62) is significantly higher than my cumulative gpa (3.3)

In regards to admissions, does the 3.62 hold any weight or do adcomms only look at a cumulative gpa?

Virtually none. If that degree GPA is part of a strong upward trend in grades, it might help a tiny bit, but don't get your hopes up.
