Northwestern Interview

I did a search, albeit not a very good one, for this question so if it was already answered and you could direct me to it, that would be great but -
Does EVERYONE get an interview with Northwestern?
It is a super reach for me (163, 3.5 - I have taken the LSAT twice and have never scored higher than a 165 on my practice tests). I applied to Northwestern early on, and have heard back from a ton of schools with lots of scholarship money.
Obviously, if I got into Northwestern I'd have to consider the opportunity with my stats.
But, is it worth my time to take off of work to do the interview? Can it make that big of a difference?

They seem to see it as a very important part of the admissions process, and skipping it can only hurt you. There have been people admitted this cycle without an interview, but they were at or above both medians.

The interview is given to just about everyone. I have to be honest, I don't think it's worth taking off work for in your case, unless urm.

Should have clarified, non-URM.
Thanks for the honest advice, it's good to hear.

Just curious, why unless URM?

I think clearly meant that his stats are so low it wouldn't be worth the time for an interview. If he was urm, he would get a boost that might make it worth his while.

Got it, thanks!

As cold as it is, that's pretty much it. It sucks, but at some point you gotta weigh the benefits against the costs, and I think the odds are bad enough that I wouldn't recommend losing a days pay to find out.

Also, don't just base your decision on what I say, I'm just saying personally, I wouldn't (and didn't) interview.

Yesterday was apparently the deadline to request an off-campus interview, though I was advised in some PMs to request this anyway. I'm at 3.95/168 plus two masters' and 3-4 years WE. Not to turn this into a chances thread, but should I pursue this?
Masters doesn't matter, WE does. Your stats are good (reverse splitter with a still decently high LSAT). I would pursue it if I were you. Dat 3.95 will help a lot.

Yes.
ETA: scooped much more nicely by crumps.
