I currently attend a regional public university, nothing special. The grades are all numeric and go on a scale of 0.1, meaning that it is possible to get a 4.0, 3.9, 3.8, etc. while many classes show letter grades, they are just for reference and all that is posted on our transcripts is the actual numeric grade we earn. How will my lsdas gpa be calculated then?

This is pretty weird. Honestly, very few people on this forum are going to be able to help you with that. I'd either call LSAC, or submit your CAS package and be surprised.

Ahh thanks. I'm only a junior at the moment in a 5 year program, so sending my transcripts in is still far off. I've already emailed them and they basically said they wouldn't tell me anything specific until I send transcripts.

If they don't show letters, I believe LSAC will just go with the numbers as printed on the transcript. I have a friend who goes to a school with a similar system, except they go by .5 (4.0, 3.5, 3.0, etc). I believe LSAC just used those numbers directly.

4.0 = 4.0
3.9 = 4.0
3.8 = 3.67
3.7 = 3.67
3.6 = 3.67
3.5 = 3.33*
3.4 = 3.33
3.2 = 3.33
3.1 = 3.0
3.0 = 3.0
2.9 = 3.0

and so forth.
*this may be 3.67
