LSAT validity and law school requirements

I know that the LSAT score is valid for a maximum of 5 years. However, some law schools are more strict, only accepting LSAT scores that are 3 or 4 years old. Has anyone ever heard of a law school allowing older scores (up to 5 years) upon request? I asked this question to an adcom, and they responded that while they don't foresee their LSAT validity requirement changing, that I should contact them when I am ready to apply (which makes me think there might be a possibility that they would accept my application).
I don't think schools would make exceptions, but perhaps someone has attempted this in the past and has succeeded.
