I just realized a major typo in one of my "Why X" essays. I spelled the name of the dean incorrectly and was wondering what impact you guys think this is going to have? I didn't put an entirely different name, just mixed up a few letters....feel like such an idiot.

I did something very similar. I just corrected the mistake, emailed the correct copy to the school and told them that I had accidentally sent them the wrong version of the document and to please replace it with the attached version. They replied back and said it was no problem and I still got into that school.
