I applied to law schools in October with 3.74 LSAC GPA, but it looks like my grades from this semester will net me a 3.79 LSAC GPA overall. Should I send an updated transcript to all of the schools that haven't responded to me yet, or is it not worth it?

If it costs you nothing to have your school send out transcripts, then absolutely.

I'm pretty sure I have read either on individual schools applications and/or on LSAC's site that you are required to send in updated transcripts if anything changes, i.e. new grades come out. In my 0L, also applying this cycle, humble opinion I would say you should definitely send them an update. My GPA is a few ticks south of yours and I am in a similar situation where it looks like I'll be going up .03 or so and I am definitely going to spend the $7 and have my school send them as soon as my grades are in.

Do we have our undergraduate institutions send them to the law schools directly, or do we send updated transcripts to LSAC?

After doing some research on LSN even a small GPA boost could be the difference between $ and $$ at Cornell and waitlist and admission at Duke(for someone with my LSAT score). I'll be sure to send my new transcript to LSAC ASAP. Thanks for the help everyone!
