I attended a high school for a year then due to circumstances home schooled until I got my GED and went to college.

Most applications require information about high school, so I wrote the school that I attended only for a year,

but would the admissions want that I attach addendum for the nontraditional high school education?

I was thinking of writing it on the section where they ask about interrupted education, but it seems they mean specifically interruption during undergrad, which I did not have.

Would it be wise for me to write an addendum for it's better to be clear than not, or would admissions not care at all?

I got my GED too.

An addendum isn't necessary.

Law schools do not care about anything HS related.

They don't care. For high school, just put GED and the date you got it.

Didn't have any effect on my cycle at all. They don't have to report it to US News, ergo, they do not care.
