Does visiting a school give one an advantage?

Is it worth sticking your head into as many admissions offices as possible? Or do visits mean little for the top schools (assuming not for an interview)

If you are in the area, I'd visit the admissions office. Can help if you are a borderline or YP candidate. I wouldn't spend big money on it though.

I think its most beneficial when negotiating scholarships later in the cycle to prove genuine interest. Besides that only as poaster said above.

Fuck yea bro. Behind the admissions process is an admissions committee which exists entirely of human beings. If you show up to a school and make a good impression to the right people, they may just remember you when they are reviewing your file. But be sincere in your visitations. How you gonna poke your head into every law school and be sincere to the people you meet?
