Top Law Schools

Hi everyone,

I am currently filling out my applications and I am wondering what I should put in the GPA section for the Education page. I know all of that information is in the Academic Report that is sent by LSAC, so first of all, should I even be filling out this section, other than the required fields? Second, I have gone to several different schools, so my question is regarding what I should put down as my GPA for the institution I got my degree from. My GPA at that school was 3.97, however, my overall GPA was 3.55 because of some horrific transfer grades. Which GPA do I put down in that section of the application? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I listed each institution with each of their own GPAs. (I have four).

Your report will give the overall UGPA, so I would take the opportunity to separate them out to help highlight the trend.

They will see the transcripts from each institution, too.
