Georgetown Law Group Interview Invitation

The group interview will last one hour, will take place with a group of approximately 8 - 15 applicants, and will be conducted by Dean Cornblatt.
1. Is there any advantage for me to go?
2. I am sure that there are no disadvanges for not going. "your application will in no way be disadvantaged if you will not be in the LA area on November 15th, or if you are unable to participate for any other reason."
3. What questions they are going to ask during the interview?
4. What questions should I ask them? (I have no idea.)

1. I personally thought it was great to meet the Dean. And even though you aren't getting specific one on one time, he will remember you.
2. Simply missing out on getting your face and personality in his head. That always helps.
3. I would come in with the mindset to be ready for group work. That's the emphasis of it. I don't want to go into too much detail on here. PM me if you'd like a little more.
4. There wasn't much time for questions from us. He had to run pretty quickly after the group activities.
Honestly, I thought the experience was beneficial. I got my acceptance 13 days after my group interview.

Could you share a little with me about the group interview?

It's described elsewhere on this site, but basically you just divide into groups of 4/5 and are given a sheet with a bunch of hypothetical GULC candidates. Each one will have a certain pitfall on their app, and you're tasked with determining the impact that their particular transgression has on their admission chances

Interesting. What is the underlying purpose?

To see if you can articulate yourself, for one. And also I would imagine to see if you can play well with others

To pit us against each other and help make GULC make decisions on "hypothetical" applicants applying this cycle.

Those invited to interview are applicants the Admissions Committee wishes to know more about before making a decision
Can't paste links for some reason. Its from gulc's website
This looks somewhat ominous. Thoughts?
