i highly doubt you get an admission or scholarship rescinded because they couldn't reach you via phone.

No one is going to rescind an offer. They'll leave a voicemail. If they can't, they'll send you an email. If they can't, they'll send you a letter.

Still, you really should have a working phone. Get one and update the schools you've applied to. Google Voice will give you a free phone number with voicemail if you can't get something else together.

There are plenty of legitimate things to worry about, like choosing schools and negotiating scholarships; missing an acceptance because the school couldn't contact you easily and decided to give up is not one of them. Take a breath. Enjoy this brief window in which there is absolutely nothing you can do and do absolutely nothing.

You will be just fine. Also, considering you started this thread, I wouldn't post this same question in every school admission thread or someone will get annoyed...
