requesting letter of rec after december exam = wrong idea?

Post by Split90 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 3:01 am

Maybe it's a stress. But I have been contacting my TAs and Professor for my LoR for past three days. And I don't want to do this any more. My mind keeps telling me I should be studying LSAT. With great technology that allows recommender to submit the letter electronically, how many of you still think it's dangerous to ask prof or TAs to write me letter after Dec 8th?

How long does it take to process a LoR when submitted electronically?

It's not the processing, it's the time it takes them to write it. People regular take weeks or months to write LORs.

It's pretty much instant. But mid-December is a bad time to ask professors for letters. They're generally busy with grading, and then it's Christmas.

yea it's not so smart thing to ask Profs for LoR in December. Dunno what I was thinking. Thanks for the replies though.
