Top Law Schools

I did volunteer work at an organization for all four years of college. However, I only volunteered for 6 out of my 8 semesters. Would it be misleading for me to write 2008-2012 for the time I spent at that organization, or is that fine?

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm worried about character & fitness implications.

I had a similar situation and I broke it up. You might want to break it up like so:

Job X Month 20xx-Month 20xx
Month 20xx-Month 20xx

Edit: The format didn't come out how I wanted it to. I basically listed my job, the relevant dates to the right of my job title on the same line and then other relevant dates directly beneath the first set of dates.
