Top Law Schools

Hi,

I am thinking about writing a DS on my interesting minors.
In college, I majored in Sociology, and I have two minors -- one in Studio Art and the other in Art History.
Ever since I was young, I have always been interested in art, which was the primary reason for declaring my minors.
I have already written my personal statement on a different topic.

I have heard that diversity statements are for stories about one's age, socioeconomic status, or nationality..
But will writing about art and my passion in art and my minors in art history/ studio art be a no-no?

What you're doing isn't diversity statement...if you really want to write that, it should be a personal statement. Ds is mainly for racial minorities to put it simply.

don't let these haterz tell you what to think OP. you are special and you need the adcomms to know it. these haterz are just worried youll take their spots at the T14, nay, at YHS.

Writing about these things could also make the ad comms question why you're going to law school.
