Yep, retake.

Try to study more efficiently. If you can increase your score to 170-174, then a lot of the schools you're interested in will consider you. As of now, you're probably in at just Georgetown, and out at the rest.

I agree with the sentiment to retake, but if hypothetically this is as high as you get after maxing out, I would say you have a better than coin flip at UVA/Cornell and maybe Mich/Berk

It actually sounds like they did minimal prep compared to what is possible, so I'd estimate high 170s as totally possible. He'd have to put in a few hundred hours, but the proximate difference is tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the ultimate difference may well be even more than that.

Retake, OP. Don't just settle, and don't force yourself to take December or apply this cycle. Get a long-term study plan, set high goals, and go for it. See you in the LSAT forum.
