Grad GPA vs. Undergrad

Post by koval » Tue Oct 29, 2013 7:36 pm

My undergraduate GPA was 3.33. After graduating I took 20 hours in post-grad work in Russia through an American college with a 3.89. Will that graduate work be weighted at all or is it a non-factor when weighing my chances at schools?

Thanks.

The graduate GPA has no bearing on admissions. Schools look exclusively to you UGPA.

Nonetheless, your graduate-level work will be looked upon favorably. It's only the grad GPA that doesn't play a quantitative factor in admissions.
