Top Law Schools

Hey guys/girls I just turned in all my apps and now I'm freaking out. The reason being that several of the schools I applied to asked that I put my LSAC# on top of my personal statement. I did remember to do that, but at the beginning of the number that is my account number there is a letter L. I forgot to put the letter L on my apps/personal statement. I guess what I'm wondering is does everyone have an L or is the letter random? Will they know what I meant? Either way is it worth getting in touch with the schools to correct the mistake? Yeah, they should know there's always an L in front of the number.

that's most likely something the administration will have to deal with and I'm sure tons of people do it too. In fact they probably won't give it a second thought

Think about it. Adcomms read thousands of personal statements, probably reading each one as fast as they can. They likely won't even see it

Don't worry about that silly thing. Worry more about how your entire future is going to be decided by adcoms across the nation and that all you can do is wait and hope for the best.

Most likely this. If someone drops 6 folders in a pile and needs to reassemble them, they'll look at the LSAC IDs to put them back together. Otherwise, that header will just be glossed over.
