My PS is 2 pages double spaced
My DS is 2.5 pages double spaced.... is this too long?

2.5 seems a little long for the DS. Also, having read your PS previously, are you sure your DS doesn't overlap with it? Make sure they are distinct from each other. I think you can probably cut down on the DS.

Yes. Cut it down to ~1.5 pages. Writing in a concise manner and knowing what to edit is an important skill to demonstrate in your essays.

Just fyi - Penn wants all additional statements, including diversity, to be 1 pg dbsp or less. Just throwing it out! The conventional wisdom appears to be 1 page dbsp
