Re: Updated GPA?
Can't hurt to just send a very brief email to the schools you've applied to stating that your semester grades have come in and increased your GPA to whatever.nothingspecialhere wrote:This is probably a stupid question so bear with me.
I'm planning on submitting all of my applications in about two weeks. However, I'm a college senior so still have this semester's grades and next semester's. My current GPA is a 3.65. After this semester it will likely be a 3.68/3.69.
I know that isn't the biggest difference, but what is the norm in this situation when your GPA changes? Do I update my transcripts on LSAC? Or does that mean I'm supposed to wait until after these grades are released?
I imagine this is a problem for a lot of people, as so many are seniors applying and would thus have a new GPA by mid-December. So there must be some obvious solution and I'm just over thinking this...right?

Submit you application now. Update the transcripts latter.

This. Technically, everyone is supposed to upgrade LSAC with their new grades when they come out. In practice, only those people who see a GPA increase do so. If that describes you, definitely send a new transcript in.Domke wrote:Submit you application now. Update the transcripts latter.
