Degree date on transcript

One of my status checkers says there is no degree date on a transcript. I attended 3 universities
SCCC - i submitted the application after graduation
SUNY M - I did not graduate
SUNY A - I sent a transcript before graduation
I assume that a degree date is only added to a transcript if a degree is obtained. Is that correct? I have to update my SUNY A transcript, but is it normal for the SUNY M transcript to not have a degree date? Since there was no degree obtained.
