How does LSAC combine and average the gpa and lsat scores? Is one worth more than the other? I tried the law school predictor and as I was playing with the numbers, it seemed as if the LSAT had a stronger influence. Is the predictor a reliable source? Thanks.

LSAC doesn't do anything with them except report them to the schools for you. Different schools weigh them in different ways. Statistically, there are fewer top LSAT scores than top GPAs, so all schools weigh LSAT pretty heavily, but some schools are also very picky about GPA or have hard GPA floors (the California schools are a common example). Some schools are more willing to accept splitters (high LSAT/low GPA) or reverse splitters. Use LSN to investigate.
