Submitting a 2 page personal statement to Berkeley

The statement to Berkeley can be up to 4 pages, unlike most schools which limit it to 2. Am I ok (so) submitting a 2 page PS to Berkeley, or would that come across as remiss given the 4 page limit?

I submitted a two page PS to Berkeley because it said what I wanted to say without extra fluff.
