Requested LOR via email. No response. Bad sign?

I (politely) requested a LOR from an old professor via email (two weeks ago) and haven't gotten a response. He's a busy guy, granted, but I'm worried. Is it alright to reach out again and make contact? It isn't like I'm a stranger to him, so it's possible my letter just got lost in the shuffle. I also don't want to pester.

What's the best thing to do now?

Office hours, or give him a call.

Yea, you should always ask for a LoR in person, if possible.

Visit his office and ask about it. Don't keep doing it by email.

I wouldn't do it by email if I were still in school, in town, and in his classes.

Try calling then? I think email may feel impersonal and you may not get a response.

I don't think the guy's blowing off your email because it's not personal enough, but it is really easy for email to fall through the cracks. So I'd try a phone call as well.

I requested my LOR from a professor on Friday but haven't heard back yet. I don't go to school any more so I can't do OH's, so if after a week and a half or 2 and no response I may shoot him a call. Kicking myself in the butt for not applying during undergrad :'/

This or I may try his personal email, which we used before.
