Is SMU's ED option binding or non-binding?

Does anyone know? All I can find regarding their ED option is:

"Applications must be submitted by November 1. All supporting documentation, including your CAS report, must be received by November 15. By the end of January, we will inform you that your application has been accepted, denied, or held for further review. If your application is held for further review, it will be reconsidered with regular decision applications. If you are applying for the Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship or the Sarah T. Hughes Scholarship (both as described below), it is strongly recommended that you submit your application and supporting documentation by the Early Decision deadlines."

I've got an email in with their admissions office, but was curious if anyone here knew. I *think* it's non-binding, but since a couple other schools have added binding ED options for the upcoming cycle, I'm trying to find out for certain.

Can't find anything official, but a thread from 2012 and a LSD thread say that it's non-binding. I would probably just call admissions to be 100% sure though, it would seriously suck to find out it was binding only after being accepted.

Got a quick reply from the SMU admissions office this morning - their ED option is still non-binding.
