Wait for fall grades?

Hello, currently I have a 3.52 lsac gpa. If I wait till grades come in for this semester I will most likely improve that to a 3.59.

I want to know if it is worth waiting or will it put me at major disadvantage?

I was a junior transfer student to my university so I only have 3 semesters of work done at this university, but obviously I have everything else from the community colleges I attended.

Please let me know what you think is my best choice. The pre-law advisor at my university said to wait a whole year before I apply so I can get all of my grades in but I won't be doing that.

Thanks

You're really selling yourself short by not taking time to work before law school.

Yeah I have actually been putting a lot of consideration into wether or not I should apply for the Teach for America program. It has always been a dream of mine to work as a highschool teacher and choosing to go to LS straight out of UG most likely means I will never get to realize it. Unless I do it much later on in life.

But if dont do the TFA program there honestly isn't really any other line of work that interests me.

Apply for TFA along with other opportunities that come along. Law school will still be here in 2 years. Good luck with everything!

Shockingly good advice from a pre-law advisor that you should not be ignoring. Get that GPA up.
