How many withdrawals is too many?

Hello,

I am applying for for law school these next few months, and I have a few withdrawals on my transcript. I have 3, one a year, and am considering dropping another class now. Would 4 really hurt my chances a lot more than possibly getting a C in the class?

It won't hurt you. Definitely do not get a C, that is much worse.

Take the W

Ws are nbd.

Wait....I thought W's were recalculated by LSAC and have a weight of 0, so the same GPA mark as an F? So a C would give you a 2.0, but a W gives you a 0 so it would hurt you even more

Edit: OP should use the search function. This topic has most certainly been discussed on TLS before. Alternatively, Call LSAC. I did this last year and they let me know that my W wouldn't be factored into my GPA.

I have 7 withdrawals and the limit in Texas is 6 (Don't know how, don't care). Accepted to T14 schools and scholarships to many T1s. Nobody said a word.

Don't take this as advice. It's merely an anecdote to consider.
