Is it a really bad thing to apply to Vanderbilt and not request an interview? Do they look down upon that?

Standard questions: why Vanderbilt, why law, what are you looking for in a law school etc. Obviously it is interviewer dependent but there were no behavioral questions or any curveballs.

I elected not to sign up for it, I wasn't going to apply until they sent me a fee waiver. If they request that I do one, then I will.
