I am looking to be admitted to Law School Fall 2014. Ideally, by what date should I have my applications submitted?

Thank you for the anticipated help.

Take the lsat in June and apply in early September.

Applying with an October score before thanksgiving is perfectly on time too.

Applications come out and are due at separate times. Early November or sooner applications would be considered ideal.

Thank you.

I was thinking I needed to take the LSAT by October 2013 to have my Applications submitted by January 2014.

January is very late to apply. Not impossible, but it leads to a lot of waitlist action.

So you are saying that I should have taken the LSAT this past June (2013) and submit my applications by October (2013) to ultimately be admitted for FALL 2014.

That would have been ideal. Seeing how you can't go back in the time, the best thing to do would be to take the October LSAT and have everything for your applications ready to go the moment you get the score back.

If you haven't started prepping at all, I'd suggest taking a PT to see where you are. You may need to push back to December to maximize your scoring potential- or even wait out a cycle.

I'm shooting to apply by September 15th. Definitely before October.

Im going to enroll in the Powerscore Online Course Sept 5 to October 2 and register for the Oct LSAT. We'll see where that lands me. Hopefully I can have everything done by October, not sure how long it takes to get back test results.

About a month to get results back.

A PS class alone is almost certainly not going to get you to your peak score.

Youre most likely going to need to take it into your own hands http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 6&t=195603

Other than writing a personal statement and getting letters of recommendation, the application process really isn't that time consuming. You could easily have everything ready, get your October LSAT score back, and still not be late. Just start gathering everything now so when you get your score back it's just a matter of hitting "submit."

I assumed op was prepared

Op- don't take the lsat until you're peaking
