Are law school decisions done by old school mail nowadays? If so, is there a thick letter/admit & thin letter/reject pattern?

Georgetown sends a tiny admit envelope; Columbia does a large one.

Most others are by phone call (NYU, UCLA, HYS), email, even status checker, or a combination.

Yeah, the GULC wedding-invitation envelope can freak people out who aren't expecting it.

List of acceptance methods: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7&t=199459

But yeah, Georgetown's is unnaturally small. Not a uniform pattern.

A bunch of Yale acceptances (including mine) came by email this year because they wanted to get them all out in time for ASW or some such. Is there a way to update the OP of that thread you linked?

Lack of a phone call was actually a little bit disappointing, since it deprived my roommates of the chance to watch me turn into a blithering idiot.

Not really since twinkletoes doesn't stop by anymore. You can PM her and she'll see it if she set up e-mail notifications for PMs.

Or you can ask a mod to edit it if it's that important. Or start a new thread for next cycle with the same info since this cycle's pretty much over anyway.
