Hi guys...
So something that's been on my mind...
I currently have a 3.8. I could either apply this cycle, or apply next cycle for a 3.83 or 3.85.
I am looking into HYSC.
I am taking my LSAT this october.
what would you do?

You haven't even taken the LSAT yet, what are you PTing at? You can't assume you'll be in the running to shoot apps to HYS yet. I suppose you can work on your PS and whatnot, and just wait and see what you get.

I'd say to finish up college, get the highest GPA possible, take a year off and get WE or volunteer experience and apply next cycle. Also, come back when you have an LSAT score

i actually have been interning at the same place all throughout college, and even took 2 years off to work here full time. i have a very specific reason for law school. it's just a matter of when i'll apply and go.

I would hope everyone has a specific reason to why they want to go to law school. Suppose it means by *very* specific, but it most likely won't overcome numbers. 3.8 and 3.83 isn't a huge difference. It will really come down to your LSAT score

1 extra point on the LSAT means much more than a .03-.05 boost. study up.

Definitely. But taking a year off between undergrad and law school is almost always a good idea, so might as well boost that GPA while getting some post-undergrad work experience.
