Question about updating recommendation letters

Post by cneu333 » Sat Jun 22, 2013 12:16 pm

My professors wrote my recommendation letters last year and I have them on file on LSAC. I'll be reapplying this year because my applications didn't turn out successful last year. But if I'm not reapplying to any of the schools I applied to last year and instead apply to a completely different set of schools, is it still advised to update my recommendation letters on file? I just hope to make sure if it matters at all.. Thanks!

There's no harm in using SOME old LORs, but I'd get at least one new letter to cover the last year.
