Any drawbacks to applying ED to a school if below median?

I know the consensus is to ED with caution, but what if you happen to be below median LSAT and GPA for the school you ED at? If you are a stretch to get in, let alone with $$$$, and you REALLY wouldn't mind paying sticker at a particular T14, why not? Just trying to game plan for my LSAT score coming in low, and wondering if anyone has any experience with a similar situation.

ED doesn't save an app that's below both medians. Generally, you need to be above at least one of the two to have a shot. It couldn't hurt to try, though, just don't get your hopes up.

The credited gameplan for when an LSAT score comes in low is
retake.
