I keep hearing about Ace but am not sure if it will be a good course? Should I do the live or the online version?

I have had a lot of friends take it and say they really liked it, I just signed up for the live course. After taking a practice test blind and getting in the 150's, I realize I need all the help I can get! I have talked to Brent, the teacher, and he seems like a really awesome teacher- he is the main reason that people have told me to sign up for Ace.

I did Ace! I loved it! I did the live version so I had over 10 classroom hours a week, and plenty of homework to keep me busy the rest of the time. It was really nice being able to ask questions during class, and being able to immediately go over my practice tests. Brent really is a great teacher.

Do you get all of your materials with Ace? Why are they any different than Kaplan?

Yes, you get everything you need and access to a lot of cool online materials. I don't know much about Kaplan, but I know that they are a lot more expensive. Also, with Ace you can take the course multiple times for the same price. I went through the classes twice before I actually took the LSAT.

I'm in the live Ace course too, I'm studying for the June test. The comparison that Brent gave me between Ace and Kaplan is it's like learning from a professor vs. a TA. Brent has been teaching LSAT courses for 17 years, and it shows. At Kaplan they have teachers for a year or two. His expertise is what makes Ace stand out.

I totally agree. Once I called Brent with a question about a game. He was driving, but asked for the test number and game number and knew which one it was right away, and had the answer to my question. I don't know that other LSAT teachers are that accessible, and would be able to recall every question from every test.

you know that a prep course is bad when their whole course is available to torrent online, and there are no leechers!

Ace's high-quality prep materials and proven reputation are definitely above suspicion! By the way I definitely don't work for Ace LSAT prep.
