I'm a sophomore Accounting and Philosophy major. The accounting major is pretty big, so it will take away quite a few of my electives and limit my breadth of knowledge. Will that hurt me when applying to YHS? T14?

Seriously don't sweat it. It goes LSAT>GPA>>Softs. Just make sure to keep your GPA as high as you can and kill the LSAT.

Edit: durr

Plus accounting can be a nice fallback, and you may be the weirdo that would enjoy tax law. I wish I had been an accounting major.

OP, he meant LSAT>GPA>>>>>>Softs. URM status can sub for LSAT, or GPA (sometimes both)

Great to hear because I kill accounting classes. Easy A's that give me extra time to work on my philosophy courses.
