Harvard off Wait-list without Interview?

I'm sure this has been talked about but I can't find it/sift through search, so apologies in advance.

I noticed on LSN that quite a few are wait-listed without having an interview--any hope for those folks?

Or do the people who get off the wait-list at Harvard always have interviews beforehand, as in a JS1-->held-->wait-list--> acceptance? Just curious. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure there is already a thread on this. It's called Harvard Waitlist 2013 and it contains all of the speculation regarding this and much more.

JS specifically said in her WL blog post that any admits will be interviewed first:
ARE INTERVIEWS OFFERRED TO STUDENTS WHO ARE ON THE WAIT LIST?
Yes. To be admitted to HLS students must complete an interview. The interview remains by invitation only. We will continue to interview students throughout the summer as we finalize the class.

I didn't even know about this thread. Thanks, Flynn.
