Should I petition to have a "W" drop?

Is it worth the effort to petition to drop a "W" from your transcript? The "W" is a result of an individual research (2 unit) . I had to drop because the organization whom I was going to be conducting the research said they weren't able to hire anymore undergradz. Weird, I know. But need some advice.

It depends. What sort of effort would you have to put in? If it's not a lot, then sure.. go for it.

If it's a lot of effort, then I wouldn't worry about it. Schools aren't likely to care.

thanks.

that's what I love about law school admission. They care very little about softs and a lot about numbers.
